Biographical information:

Since school, I've been... Working, married, having children; I live in the beautiful mountains of Blairsville, GA

My family: I have four sisters, Frieda, who graduated Logan High in 1954 and who now lives in Santa Fe, NM; Jean, who graduated Logan High in 1956, and lives in Blairsville, GA; I would have been a 1960 graduate of Logan High; however, my family moved from Switzer in 1958, after my sophomore year. My sister Judy graduated from a school in Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and my sister, Jane, who lives in Victor, MT. I am a widow and I have an 11-year-old adopted son who lives with me; two daughters who are married; I have seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. My Mother, Helen Borders-Steele passed away in 1992, at the age of 75; and my Dad, Orville C. Steele, passed away in 1997, at the age of 84.

Life experiences: Going overseas

My favorite things in school: Growing up in the 1940s-1950s was my favorite thing, now that I can look back on these things.

My favorite things now: I am retired and I enjoy going to church, visiting with friends; I love to write to old friends and relatives via email.

My favorite books, movies and music: I love biographies, autobiographies, good drama and comedy movies . . . nice and clean, which is a rarity now.
